Hurontario and Eglinton is an central arterial intersection that consists of Hurontario (Highway 10) running north from Brampton and to the south on to Lakeshore, while Eglinton runs crosstown from Mississauga to Toronto. The area is home to a majority of single family detached, semi’s and townhomes. Recently, a steady flow of condominium high-rises are making their way to the popular intersection and with the proposed LRT transit line, the area will soon see congestion relief in the near future. At the intersection, there is a mix of prime commercial and high-rises completed currently under construction and planned. Hurontario, equivalent to Yonge street in Toronto, is the second most proposed intensified area next to the Square One (City Centre) shopping Mall.
