    CityPlace in Downtown, Toronto started out as a major revitalization of Downtown Toronto’s lake shore and entertainment corridor from Bathurst to Spadina Avenue. The neighbourhood is home to dozens of high-rise condominiums and is the largest residential area in Toronto. Price Per Square foot is average in Downtown Toronto in retrospect, this is due to a steady increase in supply every year by one builder that dominates the area. The neighbourhood is in close proximity to many popular tourist areas in Toronto, as well as transit and business areas. Many residential investors are evidently here driving rents to the mid to high range in the area due to the surge in supply. When compared to other neighbourhoods for condominiums in Toronto, Cityplace has been a more affordable living choice.

The area is truly lively and energized but with a wonderfully exclusive and affluent feel. CityPlace is also home Canoe Landing Park, an 8-acre, a privately funded urban park featuring colorful sculptures by Canadian author and artist Douglas Coupland.

    The neighborhood is also excellent in terms of public transport. Commuting is straightforward with the nearby Gardiner Expressway and Lakeshore Boulevard. The development is also serviced by the 509 Harbourfront, 510 Spadina and 511 Bathurst streetcar lines and has good access to Union Station.
